Brickwork, masonry and building works in Palencia

Masonry is the base every other trade relies on. If the walls are plumb and the floor is level, everything that follows simply fits.

Masonry, enclosures, screeds and non-structural remodelling.

We build in brick and block for external enclosures, internal divisions, courtyard walls and low walls, setting out and checking plumb and level as the work rises rather than once it is finished.

We also handle the least glamorous and most necessary part: selective demolition, forming and closing openings, bedding in frames, forming falls, screeds, build-ups and levelling coats that leave the substrate ready for tiling.

Where a renovation affects load-bearing elements we do not improvise: that work needs a proper design and technical supervision, and we coordinate it with the relevant qualified professional before anything is touched.

Frequently asked questions

Can you form an opening in a load-bearing wall?
Where work affects load-bearing elements we do not improvise: that requires a design and technical supervision, which we coordinate with the relevant professional before starting. In non-load-bearing walls we form and close openings, fit lintels and bed in frames.
Do you handle waste and debris removal?
Yes. Managing and removing debris is included in the masonry work, alongside selective demolition and the protection of areas that are not being worked on.
What does the masonry leave ready for the other trades?
Bases that are plumb and level, so the other trades fit without adjustment. We lay screeds, level-ups, rules and falls that leave the substrate ready for tiling, and coordinate with plumbing and electrics before anything is closed up.
Are plumb and level checked as the work goes up?
Yes, as it goes up rather than at the end. We set out and check plumb and level throughout the brick and block work — while it can still be corrected without rebuilding.
