Plumbing for renovations in Palencia
In plumbing, whatever fails is always behind a wall that was just closed up. That is why we pressure-test the installation before anything is covered.
Water supply, waste runs and sanitaryware, pressure-tested before closing up.

We renew hot and cold water runs in multilayer or polypropylene pipe, with isolating valves per room so a future repair does not mean shutting off water to the whole home. Diameters are sized so pressure does not drop when two taps are opened at once.
Waste is a question of falls and access. We resolve stacks, traps and branches at the correct fall and leave accessible inspection points, avoiding the smells and blockages that appear when a route is improvised.
We install and connect sanitaryware, taps, shower trays and screens, coordinated with the tiling so that pipe penetrations land on a joint rather than in the middle of a tile. Before anything is closed up, the installation is pressure-tested.

Frequently asked questions
- Does the whole house water supply have to be shut off for a repair?
- Not if the installation has isolating valves per room. We fit them precisely so a future repair does not mean shutting off the water to the whole property, in addition to the main stopcock.
- Why does pressure drop when two taps are opened at once?
- Usually because of undersized pipework. When we renew hot and cold supplies in multilayer or polypropylene we size the diameters so flow and pressure stay stable with several outlets open.
- Is the installation tested before the walls are closed up?
- Yes. The installation is pressure-tested before anything is closed up. It is the only way to find a leak while it is still accessible, rather than behind finished tiling.
- Can a bath be replaced with a shower tray?
- Yes, it is one of the most common jobs we do. We install shower trays and screens and connect the taps, coordinated with the tiling so pipe penetrations land on a joint rather than in the middle of a tile.
