Electrical installations in Palencia
A properly sized electrical installation goes unnoticed: nothing trips, nothing runs hot, and it can be extended without being rebuilt. We work to the Spanish low-voltage electrical regulations (REBT).
Distribution boards, circuits and lighting sized to current regulations.

We start at the distribution board. The home is split into independent circuits — lighting, general sockets, kitchen, washing machine, air conditioning — each with its own MCB and RCD protection, so a fault affects only one area and is easy to trace.
Cable is sized by the cross-section each circuit actually requires, not by what fits in the conduit, and is run in accessible flexible conduit so the installation can be altered later without chasing out walls again.
Lighting and sockets are planned against the real layout: light fittings where light is needed, switches where you enter the room, and enough socket outlets at the kitchen, desk and bedheads that nobody ends up living off adaptors and extension leads.
What the work includes
- Distribution boards with MCB and RCD protection
- Independent circuits with cable sized by cross-section
- Full rewiring of older installations
- Light points, switches and socket outlets
- Recessed, linear and indirect lighting
- Supplies for air conditioning, appliances and charging points
- Installation compliant with current Spanish regulations (REBT)
- Separate circuits, so one fault does not black out the whole home
- Ready for future extensions without chasing out walls again
- Lower consumption with properly planned LED lighting
- Protection against overloads and indirect contact

Frequently asked questions
- Why split a home into independent circuits?
- So a fault affects only one area and is easy to trace. We split the home into independent circuits — lighting, general sockets, kitchen, washing machine, air conditioning — each with its own MCB and RCD protection.
- Will the walls need chasing again if the installation is extended?
- It should not. We run cabling in accessible conduit so the installation can be modified or extended later without chasing out the walls again.
- Does the installation meet current regulations?
- We carry out the installation in accordance with the Spanish Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulation (REBT), with protection against overloads and indirect contact, and cabling sized to the cross-section each circuit requires.
- How are light points and sockets positioned?
- From the actual furniture layout: light points where light is needed, switches where you enter the room, and enough sockets in the kitchen, at desks and beside beds that you are not left relying on adaptors and extension leads.
