The finish is the part you actually see, and the part we take most care over: multi-coat jointing, corner beads on every external angle, and a final sand to a continuous plane with no shadows or ridges, ready for paint.

- We use moisture-resistant board in wet areas and standard board in dry rooms. Where fixings or heavy use are expected we use impact-resistant board. Thickness and board type are chosen for how each room is used, not by default.
- Does drywall provide sound insulation between rooms?
